Tony Snow's column which appeared in today's Detroit News nailed the coonskin to the wall ! When it comes to Florida he wrapped words around the fundamental question facing this nation (a slight modification): Are we going to be a nation of LAW, or a nation of LIARS?

Philosophy calls this stuff "postmodernism."

That's a fancy name for -- NO LAW -- except what you make up as you go along. Florida is "postmodernism" on display. What can be discouraging is, given the dismal level of education in this nation, one has to wonder how many citizens understand this stuff, or even care. Can any thinking person ever vote Democratic again?

Our universities have been teaching this postmodernist garbage for at least a generation now -- so, what do we expect? The Democratic Party in following postmodernism has now sunk to the level of -- as Joe Sobran said on Southfield's radio station WXYT -- "A party of organized criminals."

Quite frankly, our hope is not in princes, but in God.

And here is OUR "bottom line": It is GOD -- Who has brought this paper thin election about -- to demonstrate to all who are willing to look at the results with even half their brain tied behind their backs -- that we are seeing the practical application of what ultimately happens when you elevate the people to the illegitimate level of Supreme Lawgivers, with no ultimate appeal to anything higher than their limited and flawed skulls -- no Ten Commandments -- [resulting in "alternative lifestyles"] -- no standards except what liberal Democratic Florida Supremes decide they want at any given moment -- [resulting in "count every ballot" -- by hazy and vague Florida Supremes standards] -- with the inevitable consequence of a hugely chaotic constitutional crisis, with untoward and irretrievable damage to the nation as a whole.

The National Reform Association has had the answer for 136 years: A nation acknowledging King Jesus. That's the goal, and boldly proclaiming it will rally God's people who will be challenged with this vision. It happened before, and lifting up the banner will make it happen again. It is impossible to defeat a confident message of Kingdom Victory, of building the societies of men on the Laws of God.

Alice & I have 20 grandchildren. They are all going to suffer and be put at risk as a result of today's events in Florida.

But, our God is the Prime Mover Who put all this together, to demonstrate to all who are willing to look the supreme folly of man's arrogant assumption that he is the final authority of what is right and what is wrong.

Can anybody miss it ? As our all time old time favorite baseball player Yogi Berra said so famously: "You can see a lot by just looking."

"Just looking" at Florida should be an education for the dullest of the ignorant.

Let's fervently pray this nation isn't yet beyond the possibility of learning.

Abandoning God's Law has come close to making us a nation of liars. Reformation beginning in the churches can restore us to a nation of laws, God's Laws.
