Letters to the Editor

Having been a legal researcher for many years along with my reformed brothers, I generally yawn when I see any article by a Christian lawyer--most have no clue.

The article by Chellis [Sept.-Oct.], however, on Covenanter theology and Common Law was superb!

I received yesterday a sample copy [of The Christian Statesman], and I would like to know who to thank for sending my name. I would like to order a copy of Explicitly Christian Politics....

I am the president of The Destiny of America Foundation, Inc. and...as a relative of mine, Phileas Pratt came over on the second boat (The Anne), I wonder if Larry Pratt...could receive a copy of this message, as his address, Thy Kingdom Come, in the Sept.-Oct. issue is so good that I would like his permission to quote from it.... I have many other compliments for the other writers in this same issue.

I would like to use the word Covenanter in my research on the Divine Law, adapted for the casual reader using easy-to-read syntax, and simple codifying of the Ten Commandments, the Statutes, and the Judgments.

I was delighted to find your publication in my mailbox yesterday, and cannot wait to get "the book."

We are living in exciting times, and the Kingdom Message is the one most needed.

I have Dr. Clauson in a lot of my classes [at Lynchburg], he told me about his articles and I looked them up online. So far I have enjoyed them, to say the least....VERY INTERESTING!!

All I can say is I'm very glad that we are protected from people like you forcing your religion on us. Your organization is a prime example of why the state should be patently Non-Religious.

-Daniel

Editor: Who wants to "force" their religion on anybody? Not the NRA. In terms of our ideas, we do not rely on force, but persuasion through the power of God's Word and Spirit. The vision of the NRA for politics is not revolution, but change within the lawful structures of our republic. Do the federal and state constitutions protect secularists like yourself from a peaceful change to an explicitly Christian republic that is brought about by the will of the people through their elected representatives? If so, where?
