All I can say is I'm very glad that we are protected from people like you forcing your religion on us. Your organization is a prime example of why the state should be patently Non-Religious.

I was looking for Bible study material on Exodus 18 and found the NRA web site quite helpful. I fear that we in Canada have lost most of our statesmen and replaced them with politicians. The saying about power corrupting I disagree with. I believe that a position of power only reveals the true character of the individual (especially if there is reason to believe that any act can be covered up if you wield enough power or influence. Greed is a primary symptom of the sin condition (which is really a determination to make myself god of my life). I think one factor which is required to keep a man of integrity on the right path is proper accountability. Wise pastors and Christian leaders recognize the fallibility of humanness and have someone in an accountability relationship. I would surmise that Moses and the other judges assisted each other to be fair and above board in their dealings with the people. They were also very conscious of God's interest in their attitudes and actions.

I like the explicitly Christian approach to politics. I believe that is in accord with our founding principles of Government.

Very informative writing... could use some of this for homeschooling our girls when they get older. Thank you.

This is in response to "Daniel" who wrote in the Correspondence section of the Nov-Dec 2001 issue of The Christian Statesman. The strong delusion in this country, that there actually is a "neutral realm," as in non-religious amazes me. Every thought and deed are religious. There is no neutrality. The Novus Ordo Seclorum has been deceiving just about everyone into believing there is such a neutral realm, in government, school, and the so-called non-religious. They don't exist! Existential humanism is the religion of those who claim they are secular. It is the most vile of all religions, which expresses itself in Democracy. The end result of existential humanism is suicide. All who hate God love death, not necessarily their own... All religions boil down to two basic presuppositions; Either God is God, or man can be as God... (Gen 3:5; Prov. 16:25; 8:36).
